Party to mark company's 100 years
HEFEL party for staff and associates (June 2007)
The CUBUS in Wolfurt was the grand setting for HEFEL Textil's successful 100th anniversary celebrations. Managing director Dr Dietmar Hefel and the Hefel families welcomed past and present staff from Schwarzach and Kefermarkt /OÖ, who turned out almost in full numbers, as well as guests of honour and friends. In attendance from the world of politics and industry were provincial minister of economic affairs, Manfred Rein, president of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Kuno Riedmann and mayor of Schwarzach, Helmut Leite. DI Georg Comploy represented the textile industry section. Head of HR, Christa Schneider, hosted the programme wonderfully.
The magnificent evening was opened by the superb ensemble of 9 to 11 year olds from the Dance Art School. A delicious meal, slide show and a fascinating account of the company’s 100 year history by Dr Hefel were followed by words of welcome and greetings from the guests of honour. Time simply flew and the party was still in full flow at midnight. The staff duly paid tribute to their company by presenting a colourful show highlighting the main landmarks of the past 100 years and a “bedding catwalk”, which provided an entertaining profile of innovations from past and present.
